TuTecnologia.org Launches New Website With Free Video Tutorials, Product Reviews, a Forum for Tech Questions and a Social Community to Help Hispanics With Technology Needs
MIAMI, Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- TuTecnologia.org, the leading Spanish-language online technology community intended to educate the Hispanic community about a variety of technology-related subjects, announces the launch of its new website TuTecnologia.org. Through free resources such as video tutorials, a forum and podcasts, the new multi-platform website, which replaces the former TuTecnologia.com, will continue to help break down the barrier of technology assimilation for the Hispanic community and encourage the adoption of technology, in order to capitalize on its benefits, for both personal and professional growth. With these tools, Tu Tecnologia members can overcome their language and financial barriers and use technology to progress toward their goals.
Founded in 2008 by Ariel Coro, the leading Technology Expert for Hispanics in the U.S. syndicated columnist and TV personality, the website continues to be a go-to resource for Hispanics on technology. From its inception, the website's mission has been to synthesize complex concepts and teach in a manner that everyone can understand. Today, members can access new features like the TuTV video channel which contains online classes and practical tutorials. TuTecnologia.org also offers comprehensive educational tutorials on programs such as Excel, Photoshop and Google Voice – and even how to create a Twitter account. Members can also access podcasts created by site collaborators with information on the latest technologies and product reviews.
"The Tu Tecnologia website grew from the real need of having a central location where everyone could have access to educational resources and information about technology in Spanish," explains Coro. "The participation of our community is integral and their feedback has led to the development of the new website, with innovative features that will help community members advance on a personal and professional level."
The TuTecnologia.org website will continue to maintain popular features including a community blog with articles by founder Ariel Coro, that promote a better understanding of technology and enables blog submissions from its members as well. With "Pregunta a la Comunidad" (Ask the Community), members can also post questions about all-things technology and receive answers from members and collaborators of the community almost instantly. With new and old favorite features alike, the TuTecnologia site continues its mission of bridging the technological divide within the Hispanic community.
