Social media can boost marketing
Marketing your business using e-mail and Facebook can be extremely cost-effective.
The results, however, depend on whether you can convey your messages properly, said Stu Carty of Constant Contact, an online company that provides e-mail marketing, survey and event marketing tools.
"In fact, you'll be more successful if you keep it simple," he said.
Carty shared his advice Thursday at a workshop focused on e-mail and social media marketing that was organized by the San Joaquin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Mayaco, a Stockton-based Internet marketing company.
