Wednesday, August 4, 2010 Sees Users Increase by 1.4MM New Members in July

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, Aug 03, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Quepasa Corporation /quotes/comstock/11k!qpsa (QPSA 3.70, -0.10, -2.63%) , owner of, an online social network targeting the Latino community, today announced that the website saw its registered users grow by 1.4MM during the month July, resulting in a total user base of 16.9MM members. At the same time, monthly unique visits totaled 12.4MM visits, an increase of 15% compared to the month of June.

Quepasa continued to see significant growth in its Brazilian user base. In the month of July, Brazil accounted for 291,000 new users compared to 183,000 in June. Following Brazil, Mexico represented the second largest source of new users, with 244,000 new members in July.
